Art Gone Wild- day 4
Sadly, this will be my last post for Zoo Atlanta's
Art Gone Wild. I was obligated for three days and three finished pieces. I've got four that have real potential when finished. It was an amazing experience and I'm glad I did it despite Atlanta heat and traffic (seriously, folks if you have a daily commute of 90+ minutes consider finding a new home or job, life is too short for that mess). I'm going to use tomorrow to sharpen up the pieces I have and paint my daughter's birthday pinata (as is tradition). It should be easy to knock out with all the practice I've had this week.
I want to thank my beautiful wife for watching the kids on the first two days, my awesome parents for driving from a whole other state to pick up the kids (by 7:20 AM no less) just to turn around to sit in I-85 standstill, my sister and her kids who also drove over two hours to see me paint and the incredible employees, patrons and artists who shared a laugh and a kind word with me while I was there. It was a really positive way to keep the art skills sharp and I'll have to keep looking for more like this. Thanks very much.
First selfie ever, repping the mighty Comeback Vinyl.
