You've never heard of Stephen Eidson but he hopes one day (perhaps today) you will have.Born in Asheville, NC, Stephen Eidson was mostly exposed to art through a love of illustrated books,comics and forms of animation and a mother who liked to draw herself. Beginning with a large prediliction for drawing monsters when he was a boy, Stephen grew to draw constantly and appreciate many forms of visual art. With the loving understanding of exactly what he was getting himself into from his parents,he went on to pursue a BFA at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Since then, he has toiled on his craft in relative obscurity hoping to one day hone himself to the level of the wide array of artists he admires and to surface in as many shows or publications as he can get his grubby little hands upon. He looks forward to the day when he has enough exposure to potentially cause the same kind of infectious passion in others that so many have caused in him. Not to mention his desire to claim that he carves a living with strictly his craft. In the meantime, he does his best to keep pushing things in the right direction artistically while not overlooking his existing blessings like his beautiful wife and their adorable children. His work has appeared most prominently in approximately forty illustrations for White Wolf Publishing as well as a handful of weeklies and gallery shows.
